Abstract

The article is devoted to the microscopic structure of rosemary officinalis- Rosmarinus officinalis L. cultivated in Uzbekistan andthere were determined its diagnostic signs. When examining a paradermal section of a leaf under a microscope, it can be seen that the outlines of epidermal cells on the upper side are rectilinear, with slightly thickened and porous membranes, the projection is polygonal, and on the abaxial, with slightly sinuous membranes, the projection is polygonal. The cells of the upper epidermis are larger than those of the lower. These diagnostic signs can serve to identify plant raw-materials.
